1995 two engineers, Phil White and Gérard Vroomen, decided to take the work they had been doing on developing faster Time Trial bikes to market. Cervélo, no gimmicks, no hype, no trends, just intelligent engineering resulting in a light, strong, stiff, and excellent performing race bike whether you are racing against the clock, trying to make a break off the front or climbing the steepest of hills. 

 

Their mission was simple: "To help our customers win races". It is safe to say they accomplished that, with Team CSC ranked number 1 in the world and the P3 being the most successful triathlon bike in Ironman history (over 30 victories). Wins include this year's Tour de France by Carlos Sastre, and Olympic TT by Fabian Cancellara, not to mention his double World TT titles and wins at Paris Roubaix for him and Stuart O Grady.
